Council Meetings

Council meetings are held 4 times a year.

Council Committees

  1. Oversight Committees
    Human Resources, Finances, Audit and Risk Oversight Committee
    Registrations, Social, CPD, Ethics, and Transformation Oversight Committee
    Strategy, Investment, Marketing and Research Oversight Committee

  2. Continued Professional Development Committee
    Organise, award CPD events, workshops and training sessions
    Provide guidance on CPD requirements and standards
    Support the Geomatics Practitioners in meeting regulatory requirements and stay abreast with industry developments and best practices

  3. Disciplinary Committee
    Uphold the Council’s code of conduct, regulations and rules
    Provide a fair and transparent process in addressing misconduct allegations
    Streamline processes, conduct fair and impartial hearings

  4. Education Advisory Committee
    Assessment of qualifications, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and registrations thereof
    Moderation of qualifications, WIL and regulations thereof
    Appeals management in relation to qualifications, WIL and registrations dispute(s)

  5. Policy Subcommittee
    Develop, review and recommend policies to Council
    Ensure policies are aligned with the Council’s vision, mission and goals
