SAGC COUNCIL BURSARY PROGRAM

We are proud to introduce the SAGC Bursary Program, an initiative that aligns with Geomatics Act and is dedicated to nurturing students like yourself, by empowering them to excel in their academic journey and become the Geomatics leaders of tomorrow.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the SAGC Bursary Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in full-time programs at an institution of higher education offering SAGC-accredited qualifications
  • Demonstrated financial need, coupled with an exceptional academic record.

Fields of Study:

  • Diploma: Geomatics (Engineering Surveying or GISc), Mine Surveying
  • Bachelor of Geomatics: (Engineering Surveying or GISc)
  • BSc. Geomatics: (Land Surveying or GISc)
  • BSc. Geoinformatics and BSc Hons Geoinformatics

For students registering or registered to study the following:

  • BSc in Surveying/Geomatics (Land, Engineering and Photogrametric Surveying)
  • BSc Hons (Mine Surveying/Geoinformatics/GIS and Remote Sensing)
  • BSc Mine Surveying/Geoinformatics/Spatial Science
  • Bachelor in Geomatics/Built Environment: Engineering Surveying/GISc
  • Advanced Diploma in Geomatics: Engineering Surveying
  • Diploma in Geomatics (GISc/Engineering Science)

Please submit the following relevant documentation with your application:

  • Matric certificate (if already completed)
  • ID document
  • Tertiary qualifications certificate(s)
  • Latest examination results, if available, for mid-year or end of year examinations
  • Provisional Letter of Acceptance at University / University of Technology
  • Proof of Registration at Institution
  • Proof of household income by parent or guardian
